Dear Residents,
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your RHA President this year. Myself and my team appreciate the opportunity to achieve our mission of a fulfilled resident population and support you, the great residents of Georgia Tech. I will be succeeded by Joey Slater and am confident he will do an excellent job in leading the organization to new heights.

In order to make our Hall Councils even more successful in the year ahead, RHA will be conducting Hall Council elections for in the spring! Elections will be conducted for upper class apartments on Thursday April 19th, 2012. Information sessions will be held beforehand to answer any questions you may have about the organization or any of the positions.

Dear RHA,
On Friday, March 30th, our Director of Finances, Grant McFerrin resigned from his position. On behalf of the executive board and the organization, I would like to thank him for his service to RHA.
If you have questions regarding finances, please e-mail the DoF account and your questions will be resolved by an executive board member. The Financial Oversight Commission will be run by our auditor, Jason Molargik. The remainder of the finance duties will be shared among the executive board with myself taking final accountability for financial decisions.

Ballin' with the Hawks is back on!
We have 200 more tickets to sell at $5.00!
Join the Residence Hall Association, the Student Government Association and the Student Center Programs Council for "Ballin' with the Hawks!". Watch as the Atlanta Hawks battle it out with the Detroit Pistons in this epic showdown! The first 50 students who show up will have a chance to stand in the tunnel, high-5ing players as they take the court.

After purchasing your ticket online, you may pick it up in the RHA office between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday, or whenever an executive board member is present. Please bring proof of purchase with you. Our office hours are listed on the bulletin board outside the office and here.

Residents, we call you into the war between RHA and SGA, which can only be settled through good old fashion flag football... winner take all!
Sign up for our annual RHA-SGA Football Game. We are on a 1 year winning streak and look to continue it. This is an incredibly fun event and I really hope to get a big showing for the better organization (RHA)!
Advisors and Others: Please feel free to come and cheer on the RHA team.
As we are in the preliminary organization steps for the RHA-SGA football game and I will be in charge of the coordination for our side. If you would like to help us defeat the "other side" then please sign up here. The preliminary date is Saturday April 21st around noon. Lunch will be provided. All are welcome! (especially those that can catch/run).
The Residence Hall Association invites you to partake in the upcoming Executive Board Elections. Applications are due February 17, 2012 at noon. Positions available include President, Vice President, Director of Communications, Director of Programming, Director of Finances, and the National Communications Coordinator. A mandatory information meeting will take place February 16, 2012 at 9:30PM in the flag building. Candidates will be announced February 22, 2012. Speeches night will take place February 29, 2012. Voting night will take place on March 7, 2012. If interested email a completed application and resume to the Elections Chair (elections@rha.gatech.edu).

The Residence Hall Association is pleased to announce that through the combined efforts of Joey Slater (Director of Communications) and Charles Cloud (Vice President) that Georgia Tech has won it's first National Of The Month Award from the National Association of College and University Residence Halls. The OTM won Top Education Program (December 2011) for Lunch and Learn : GTPD, allowing residents to have an informal lunch with Officer Gutierrez.

The Executive Board invites residents to our first spring semester Legislative Council for a State of the Organization presentation. During the presentation, President Mathias Rost will be outlining the vision for spring semester as well as a recap of fall.
